Kacey and JJ's Wedding Day - part II

What do you suppose Audrey is looking at?
It's probably these two who were just married & introduced
as Mr. & Mrs. James Joseph Bullard.
It just doesn't seem it's been that long since I was standing
in Natalie and Lon's reception line after they were married but there they were with all of their children, daughter in law, granddaughter and new son in law. Has time really gone by that quickly?
Kristi & JJ came home for about an hour before the reception
and she still had that beautiful smile that she started
the day off with.
but she knew that there was fun yet to be had
and delicious cake yet to eat.
I love you Kacey and JJ.
Have a wonderful life together.

April 18, 2009 - Kacey & JJ Bullard's Wedding Day

IT'S KACEY'S WEDDING DAY!
Does this look like a happy bride?
I say yes - and I know she IS AND WAS
on this special day.
I took plenty of pictures of the bride and groom
but I'm not the one who will give you the first
glimpse. I'll just share some pictures I took while
we were waiting for the bride and goom to come out
of the Los Angeles temple.
If you don't know who this little beauty is already - she's Kyle and Amy's little girl - Audrey. Grandma Hess' name-sake. This young lady below caught the bride's bouquet at the reception; the interesting thing about that is - Kacey caught Kellie's bouquet last year ! ? What will another 10 years bring in the life of Hannah?
Natalie's daughter Kristi is one of the most photogenic young
girls I know. She can't take a bad picture.
Natalie's son Kyle (Kacey's brother)
and his little beauty.
Does Natalie look a little stressed? There was
really no point in trying to talk to her at this
particular time - there was too much running
through her head....a lot of which she probably
didn't need to be stressing over...but that's
just her.
Here we are at her house between the wedding
and the reception. I think I was on the phone
with the people who were trying to deliver the
cake to the reception. They couldn't get in!
That got us on our feet....
so we packed up the flowers, and everything else
that Natalie had put so many hours into prepairing
and headed off to the church.
Once we got there and she got things under
control we were able to sit down and relax a
little bit. Well, everyone but Natalie that is. She
was busy all night long.
Here's Kristi and Hannah - I don't know the
girl on the left but I think she's a friend of
Kacey and Sandy's.
This is (from left) Mother, her friend Paul, and
her good friend Melvaline who flew in from
Denver to be at the wedding.
This is who they had to detach from Kacey's
hip in order for her to get married.
Our fun, loving Sandy!
And this is the closest thing to the bride and groom
I will be able to show you until they, or their family
share pictures themselves. These are darling little gift boxes with chocolates inside
that were set at each place setting.
To be continued.....

Happy Easter Spring is FINALLY here - some of our flowers
are coming back to life and the temperatures are warming up.
I know some of you from UT, NM, CO are saying - 'yeh right,
you guys don't know anything about the cold weather.' But we
have been waking up to 40 degree mornings and that's cold for here.
We had Tracey, Brent and his kids here for Easter.
This is Brent's oldest daughter Brinn and his middle
child Bergen.
Brent's son Branzton is here in the red cap. Bergen again
in front here. And of course Blake and Cameron on the couch,
We sure enjoyed seeing them again. The last time we were together
with them was at Tracey and Brent's wedding 3 or was
it 4 years ago.
For those of you who follow my blog, you may have
noticed the little box in the right hand corner that
says "Tracey's Baby Ticker" - well, here's Tracey
in all of her pregnancy glory.
She loves showing her baby to everyone.
She was outside in the backyard letting "Charley"
enjoy the sunshine. Only 55 more days until the due date. We are all looking forward to it!
P.S. That's not Mike's hand on her belly...it's Brent's.
I don't think you could get Mike to do anything like that...
even with her shirt pulled down.

Glow Sticks Galore

Have you ever played glow in the dark volleyball?
This was our YW/YM activity last Tuesday
We put glow sticks around our heads, necks, or arms;
dropped glow sticks inside a beach ball, turned the lights
out and volley'd away. We had a great time!
I tried to get a good picture of the action with the lights off but this is the best I could do without a tripod. I kind of like the way this looks though. FAMILY - I want us to get together one night this summer and do this. It's a blast!

Hello !
It's been awhile since I've been able to post anything.
After 10 performances, our Savior of the World production
finally came to a close. It was such an enjoyable experience
for me, especially having Cara and Hannah there to share it with.
I now have time to spend with my husband and my extended family!
Well, as I shared with you earlier, I have been going through some
changes in my house. We ripped up all the old marble tile in the kitchen
and downstairs bathroom and replaced it with Italian porcelain tile. We
then ripped out the carpet in the living room, dining room and stairway and
replaced it with new, up to date carpet. I'm very happy with it.....
Come in and take a tour!
This is an arrangement I made today to brighten up the
corner we have next to the fireplace.
Mike wanted something with an island theme to go
with the sea turtle piece we bought in Hawaii.
Here is our finished fireplace; it sure makes the room feel cleaner.
Maybe because it is!
Now I have to share what we did in Hannah's room.
We wanted to paint the wall's after she moved into
Blake's old room. She decided she would like a waterfall
on one wall so I hired Susie Sims, a muralist in our ward
to come and do her magic.
Here is how it came to be.
And she does it all freehand!
No sketching it out beforehand.
I was amazed by her talent; and Hannah loved it.
Now we're in the process of decorating with an island theme in her room.
